A small series that began with pre-fab houses made from archival paper board, and covered with collage, found objects, and acrylic paint, I call these three-dimensional paintings.  Each one has a story beyond its story-book cuteness.  The elusive American Dream is fraught with surprises and disappointments, as evidenced by such things as the jack-in-the-box and other symbolic items.  It takes more than a second to really "see" it, but the journey inside and out is always worth taking.
